Welcome to Superior Wilderness Safety

Hi i'm Barry Mclean owner and operator of Superior Wilderness Safety.  We are based out of Wawa, Ontario Canada 2 1/2 hour drive north of Sault Ste. Marie.  The heart of Northern Ontario, Wawa is home to the Wawa Goose and is an outdoor enthusiasts paradise.

I grew up in Wawa and was brought up on fishing, camping and just enjoying what mother nature offers. So it was just a natural thing to start  a business that involved all the things i love. The business idea got started in September 2009 and in October the website was first developed. Many changes have taken place since then and many more improvements will be added on a continuing basis. The goal and philosophy of this website is to bring people together who share the same love of the outdoors as i do.  We will provide you with top quality safety products and the information to make your adventure a fun and safe one.
